Is it possible to hide tan lines when spray tanning??!!

Hi everyone :)

I have had lots of positive feedback from my spray tanned clients over the past few months in my new business.

The one thing I have had people ask me is if I can blend their tan lines to match there tanned skin. I have an HVLP system which works great for even coverage and I usually do a second lighter coat over pale areas ie. upper thighs/arms which turns out great. It's not really possible to hide tan lines such as sunglass marks, sandal marks or shoulder strap marks is it?? I know that it is likely to blend abit more when it's all tanned but there will obviously still be a difference. Does anyone have any tips?? It's just that I've had a few people say this to me and of course I want to help them so they come back to me!!

I know this is abit of a silly question.. just like some advice :)

Thankyou :)

YES YES YES.
Absolutely you can. Turn the front of you gun ( the one that you move so you can change from a vertical to a horizontal spray) at a diagonal. Turn the amount of spray way down in the back. You need to spray in a circular motion like you do with an airbrush. Go very slow! You might need to adjust the ring in the front (the one that holds the front on ) Practice on a card board box with water.

I have a question for you too??? Do you use a mobile pop up spray tent or do you have room in a salon? I am looking for a quality pop up tent to srpay my clients and be mobile but not sure which one to purchase. Any suggestions?
Thanks

We don't have a tent. We use the clients shower when we do mobile. Something to keep in mind with the tents smaller isn't better. Make sure your client has plenty of room to move around

I really like my tan tent. I paid about $100 at Tampa Bay Tan.

I ordered my tent from Tampa Bay also but, it has been on back order for a month now. They FINALLY got them in and mine has been shipped, I can't wait for it to arrive.

You should think about purchasing some black flat sheets too. I have one twin and one queen. They were pretty cheap at walmart. I've used them on several occasions when my tan tent was just too large for their space. I even use them when I use the tent. One goes just otside the tent on the floor, the other goes at the back underneath the fan.

Sonoma Tanning a nice big tent I wish I would have known about when I purchased mine & it's was a little less in price as well!

I also found a tent on Ebay for $49.99 + $20 shipping, but it was horrible it barely stood up & was not made for spray tanning. It wasn't even the one in the picture that they sent me. I am in a dispute with them through PayPal. So be careful.

Sonoma Tanning is on this forum, so you can search in under Member List. Or try doing a search for Sonoma Tanning on the internet.

If you are not interested in hers, PM me, I have a great tent that is blue, lets in more light & it doesn't turn brown from the overspray!! It's jus tthat the one Sonoma sells is roomier.

Ok guys when you use a tent to spray people at parties, where do you set the tent up at, a seperate bedroom... away from the party? I figure in a seperate room considering some people might like to be sprayed topless.
