Norvell One

Has anyone used Norvell ONE?
What are your thoughts on it? Can you really tell clients that they can shower an hour after application? Does it last as long as a regular solution? How is the wear? Are there other rapid development solutions that are better or faster?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Norvell One

The client can shower in an hour for a light tan, 2 hours for a medium tan, and 3 hours for a dark tan. The bronzer in it is not as dark as the bronzer in the regular solution, so the client can tell how dark they are getting and shower when they feel they are dark enough. I only use it on clients that are in a time crunch and know for sure that they will be able to shower in a few hours. I have a lot of people that request it now, but I prefer to use the normal solution. To me, the color of the ONE solution is not as great as Norvell Amber Sun.

It wears the same as regular solution and lasts the same amount of time.

Re: Norvell One

It lasts the typical 7-10 days and both Norvell Amber Sun and Norvell ONE fade super even. I actually have several women who say it lasts almost 2 weeks on them, but that's not typical. I've been using Norvell for over a year now and I have never gotten any complaints on how it fades. A lot depends on the customer though, if they don't exfoliate it won't fade well no matter what solution you use.

Everyone has their own different opinions and preferences, but I've used SJolie and my customers complained of the smell and how sticky it is. Norvell doesn't have that musky smell, and most people feel pretty dry by the time I'm finished spraying them. (If you can't tell, I LOVE Norvell and will never use anything else!)

Re: Norvell One

Thank you so much for the info! I got it the other day and I'm going to try it on myself next week. I just wanted to know if anyone had been using it for a while. Does anyone know if it is more drying than regular solution?
Thanks again!

Re: Norvell One

Has anyone used the Norvell One with a metal cup? I am not sure what will happen because it specifically says 'do not use metal spoon, or pour through metal funnel'.... I use a metal cup, and am not sure what will happen. Anyone know?

Re: Norvell One

Like AprilST, I love Norvell products too, and sampled their One solution on a few different skin types to see how it worked. I found that it worked best on those with medium to darker tones. Although each person's initial wash off time varied, most averaged 4 to 6 days before fading (as compared to the average 5 to 7 days). And most said it didn't fade as nice as the other solutions. Hope this helps!

DO you charge more for a ONE spray?

Re: Norvell One

I charge $10 more.

And just as an FYI for everyone, the Norvell ONE in my experience looks better on medium to dark skin tones (as kimmieKK mentioned) and the Sjolie rapid tan works better on lighter skin tones (like mine). I don't personally use Norvell or Sjolie for my regular solution, as I prefer JMT, but there are positives and negatives to both of their rapid solutions in my opinion.
